Lean Six Sigma Curriculum for Houston College & University Students
Contact Us

Before considering the methodology for any community college or wanting to inculcate it in students, learning about Lean Six Sigma is crucial. For starters, it’s a business philosophy focusing on breakthrough improvement and combining Six Sigma and Lean principles. Our company Lean Six Sigma Curriculum for Houston High School Students of Texas, has been working with it for over ten years, and we know how to introduce all community college members to it.
Although Lean Six Sigma is a business philosophy that aims to improve efficiency and reduce variability in all kinds of business processes, it has been proven over the years that it can be used for more than manufacturing and regular business cycles.
Instead, it is possible to have Lean Six Sigma included to improve processes and systems and automate efforts in any area; this includes education at lower or higher levels.
The final goal with the methodology and community colleges is to help students have more tools for improvement and growth, help educators and professors enhance their methods, and the entire education system to prepare students accordingly while they develop or improve their personal skills.
How Can the Lean Six Sigma Structure Be Used in This Area?
Since LSS comes from the Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, its principles and structure are shared. In this case, LSS uses the DMAIC approach, and it is adjusted to community colleges:
- Define the problem.
- Measuring the process performance.
- Analyze the root cause.
- Improve the process.
- Fix the problem permanently by controlling the process.
How to Get Access to Our Training
We highly recommend contacting us for more information about our training and certifications as the top company in Texas that is recognized by international entities, giving you the benefit of every certificate being valid and recognized throughout the country and other nations.
For any of your students and educators under your wings—or if you are an individual interested in your particular education—we recommend starting with a Yellow Belt. Although the Yellow Belt takes only between 7 to 10 days (online or on-campus), it is an excellent introduction to LSS and quite needed to take the next levels of belts since it will provide you with tools that will be useful regardless of whether you choose to become a Green Belt or a Black Belt later on.
Once you have completed your training, we will open the option for certification, which consists of taking one of our exams for final approval and verifying the knowledge acquired.
We will add more time and adjust the schedule accordingly depending on the request (if it is a team program or an individual one). For every community college in Houston, we always open several monthly programs to ensure enough space for those interested in the training and certification.
As educators, professors, and students on their own, we want to welcome you and assure you that our training is practical and won’t affect your daily activities. However, we do request some dedication once you finish any of our training within the next 1 to 2 weeks or according to your time availability.
